Throughout his earthly ministry Jesus repeatedly went out of his way to value and protect the weak and vulnerable.  In spite of his culture's widespread disrespect for imperfections, Jesus taught his followers protect the smallest and weakest among them.  In keeping with this principle, DaySpring exists for the purpose of providing emergency housing for women and children.  

 

Here at DaySpring, Danville's most vulnerable population finds hope, encouragement, and strength to rebuild shattered lives and discover the love of God for themselves.  DaySpring's mission is to minister to the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.  We desire to show the love of Christ to the women and children of Danville through providing emergency housing, Biblical teaching, instruction in life skills, and a supportive environment where families can heal and grow.
