Latest Happenings at DaySpring

It has been a while since we posted on here with an update. It's not for lack of activity at the shelter though. Just this past Saturday (Sept 23rd) we were graciously invited to come speak at the Walk for Life hosted in Lincoln Park by the Women's Care Clinic on Williams Street. In addition to some great praise time before and after the walk, we were also grateful to see God working in more than one ministry around town. He is truly at work in so many areas it is awe-striking to watch Him piece together the work He is accomplishing in Danville.

The work on our children's recreational area and office space has been progressing beautifully. Our volunteers from Second Church of Christ keep working hard to make it a space usable for ministry. We've also been enjoying the unseasonably warm weather for Fall, although it does mean keeping an eye out for those who may get dehydrated or have no place to escape the heat. Even though we can't house everyone who comes to us for help, we do whatever we can to make sure they get the help they need.
